Hey there, I'm Marine, and I'm all about helping students and fellow educators thrive! My love for making learning awesome drives my journey in education. I am currently a part of Collaborative Classroom, where I rock the role of Manager of Educational Partnerships. I was formerly the ELA and Literacy Assessment Coordinator at the Idaho State Department of Education. I got to push literacy forward through the Idaho Literacy Achievement and Accountability Act, teaming up with teachers and leaders to make it happen.
My teaching adventure began in sunny Southern California, teaching kids from grades 2 to 5. As time went on, I became an instructional guru, an ELA whiz, and a PBIS coach, becoming a mentor for others.
Guess what? I'm also an author! You can find my wisdom in books like "Getting Started with Teacher Clarity" and "Leading with Administrator Clarity." Yep, I'm all about making education work like a charm.
I've got a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from UC Irvine and a master's in Educational Leadership from CSU Northridge. When I'm not shaping young minds, you can find me in Boise, being a wife and mom while shaking things up for a brighter education future.
Hi, I'm Sandy. With over 15 years of experience as a school administrator and Executive Coach in the sunny states of California, Hawaii, and Florida, I'm passionate when it comes to leading schools to success.
I'm truly on a mission to make sure students are always at the heart of everything we do in schools. I love to work on building positive relationships and boosting school achievement have even earned a few accolades for my work in these areas.
Recently, I have taken on a new role as an executive coach, working with principals and superintendents all across the United States. I am all about data-driven instruction, supercharging instructional outcomes, ensuring multilingual learners get the support they need, and sharing the best practices in diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
My background matches my passions and I have a Master’s in Educational Administration and a Bachelor’s in Communication Studies from UCLA. I'm also the co-author of "Leading with Administrator Clarity."
When I am not working to shape the future of education, you'll find me soaking up the sun on the Gulf Coast of Florida relaxing on the beach or cruising on my paddle board in the nearby Gulf of Mexico.
